Orthoceras Fossil
Orthoceras were sea creatures whose slim, tube-shaped shells are found in limestone rocks from the Baltic and Swedish regions. These fossils belong to a prehistoric cephalopod family, related to today’s clever octopus and speedy squid, known for being active hunters. Their shells show delicate striations on the outside. Each polished Orthoceras fossil has a pre-drilled hole, ready to be transformed into a necklace. The price is for one fossil.
