build-a-BOX comes with 1 scoop of tumble, and 1 scoop of confetti. You can upgrade these to Medium (2 scoops) or Large (3 scoops) within the box builder.

You can customise your bucket by adding additional crystals and fossils within the builder too!

Not necessarily! We use NZ based suppliers to support our local economy, and we're very isolated from the crystal and fossil rich parts of the world. Supply can be inconsistent and unpredictable, which means that sometimes when an add-on is sold out it is gone for good!

The cool thing about this is that our add-ons are updated regularly - with amazing new crystals and fossils being added every few months. Keep checking back here to make sure you don't miss out on a new addition to your collection!

We don't currently have the option to purchase sand refills or crystals as a stand alone product, but we want to introduce this option soon.

Repurpose your sand to mine again:

Pour your wet sand onto an oven tray and leave it to dry in the sun (or stick in in the oven on low heat for a couple of hours).

The fun doesn't shop when you're done mining - there are 50+ ways to play and get creative with your crystals!

No, you can store your roxbox indefinitely as long as the contents remain dry. The sand we use is washed and then kiln dried, to remove any moisture. Store your box for as long as needed before you use it or gift it!

Build-a-BOX works for a range of ages, but especially 6 years and up due to the QR code which links to the online 'Treasure Trove'.

The starter box may be a more engaging option for junior hunters since it comes with a paper 'Treasure Map'.

Due to the ever-changing nature of the add-on options for this product, we decided not to include a treasure map. It's the best choice for our planet since we can quickly make changes without discarding and wasting outdated treasure maps.
